Hello readers! It's been quite some time since I last posted! I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays, from Halloween to Christmas, and I hope you all have a Happy New Year! Unfortunately, for some, the upcoming year is proving to be incredibly financially straining. The year hasn't even begun, and it is already surprising some with overwhelming bills, many of which popped up unexpectedly. And so, this letter, on top of being a end-of-year greeting, is also a desperate call for financial support, and I am reaching out to you, my faithful readers, for aid. While I cannot reveal who needs this aid, I can say it is vital that it is received as soon as possible! Whatever you feel you can give, if you feel you can give, is appreciated by the person requesting the aid. You are thanked in advance!

The Head and the Heart
Just as a body cannot have two heads, so neither can a household. For the body to function, it must have a head on its shoulders and a heart in its chest. Otherwise, it can neither function, nor live. Likewise, a household can only have one head firmly in the lead and one heart beating and guiding the head, providing nourishing blood to all the other parts of the body, including the head. In other words, the family is the body: the father is the head, the mother is the heart, and the children (if any) are the remaining parts of the body. Each has a role that makes the family function much in the way each body part has a role to make the body function. This is the order of the world. The body parts cannot rebel or switch roles lest the body die. So to with the family.

Cafepress Update!
Hello all 458 of my wonderful viewers! I would like to make a quick announcement: I have updated my Cafepress Shop. It is now called Uniquely Yours, and the URL is http://www.cafepress.com/uniqueyoursatheart.
Please use this URL from now on to fulfill all your shopping needs!
I would also like to ask: how was everyone's break? I trust you all had a wonderful Christmas (for those of you who celebrate) and a very happy new year?
My little ones had an especially grand Christmas this year. My oldest received a sewing machine for Christmas, and it was a hit! My youngest received a fire truck that is proving to be beloved over all other toys received. Oh, and did I mention there's another little person getting ready to make his/her entrance into this world? That's right! Baby #3 is set to arrive June 1st, which is great, considering I go back to school next week!
Speaking of school, I want to speak with you guys about it. What are your thoughts regarding the current state of the education system? Do you love it? Do you hate it? Do you think it needs serious fixing? Let's start a discussion! Post your thoughts and I look forward to reading them. In the meantime, here is the link to an article I thought was rather interesting: http://www.collective-evolution.com/2014/01/07/this-is-what-happens-when-a-kid-leaves-traditional-education/
Just to note, you can leave comments regarding college education as well. This article is aimed at education as a whole, so feel free to leave your thoughts on education as a whole if you like.
Have a great night!
