Hi All!
Christmas is upon us once again! This year has gone by so quickly, it is unbelievable. 2013, here we come! I hope all my readers, near and far (shout out to my European and Asian readers!), enjoy this blessed season, especially in light of the recent tragedies.
Well, that is if we make it to Christmas. There's still this issue of the Maya Apocalypse happening tomorrow. To tell you the truth, it makes for a funny joke. I like telling everybody "Merry Christmas.... assuming we make it to Christmas!" Then we laugh. But I don't think anything more of it. Remember Y2K? Yeah. I panicked then, but only because I was a kid. (Yes, I was a kid in 1999, but that's another story). I doubt the world will end. If it does, I will find it hard to remain Catholic.....
Anyway, I am thinking about starting my own business. I am good at administrative work, cleaning and cooking (not chef-level), and was thinking of offering my services as a personal assistant, housekeeper and/or cook for busy professionals and/or families. I could work from my home office, make my appointments, then do what I'm hired to do by whomever needs me whenever. I'm a housewife, so my schedule is flexible. I think it will be something to try.
But I am too distracted to type this out. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
