Hello Everyone! How are you all? I trust you are well?
We are well, thank you. Today, I implemented a schedule for my little one's home schooling. It is a simple schedule: each class is 30 minutes with a 10 minute break after every two classes. Before, the entire school day was completed in an hour or two, and while that worked at first, I felt my little one wasn't getting enough learning time. So now, we have an easy schedule that will give me more time to clean and allow for more school-related activities. And besides, keeping my little one scheduled will keep me scheduled, and that's a win-win in my plan book.
Since today was only the first day of this new schedule, we ended early, but the idea was established. See, some classes were every other day only, and that will finish this week. Beginning next week, all classes will be every day for four days, with the afternoon and day five left for catch up work. It will be nice to have most of my work done by lunch so I can use the afternoon to concentrate on cooking.
Speaking of which, I'm still recovering from Thanksgiving, and I'm already plotting for Christmas. I must be a glutton for punishment... or praise, since my cooking was an apparent hit. ;-) Well, I'm off to plan our meal for tonight. Write you all soon!
